VICTORIA’S SECERT “LOVE SPELL GIFT SET” REVIEW

Greetings everyone!
So, a couple of days ago I had my birthday and one the best gifts I took was the “Love Spell Gift Set” from the one and only Victoria’s Secret!

Let’s take things from the beginning.

You cannot skip the flawless gold clutch the set comes with. With the Victoria’s Secret gold logo on its front, this clutch makes me think of a mermaid prom I would definitely love to attend. Besides, at the end, the products may finish, but the clutch will stay!

When you open the clutch you see the products in.

You will find a tag with all the information attached, considering the products.

The whole set smells like cherry blossom and peach as mentioned on the bottles. It’s a very fruity set, so if you’re into those scents this may be a very good choice for you.

The Body Lotion:
I fell in love with the smell of the lotion from the first moment. Very good texture, and also leaves a smooth skin with a nice hydration. However I expected it to last a little bit longer if you think that it’s not a cheap body lotion, but I would definitely recommend this as your next buy.

The Body Wash:
To be honest I haven’t tried this one that much as the other ones, but it leaves the peachy odor on you from the moment you get of the shower. Nice and bubbly, makes the whole bathroom smell like you live in a cherry-peach house!

The Body Fragrance Mist:
Body mists are meant to last less than perfumes and that’s the purpose after all. A very good friend to carry in your bag, due to its size too. Gives you an instant refreshment if you want something light and you don’t want to waste you expensive perfume.

The General Impression:
A very girly scent that will show another you. As I noticed, in order to have the best result that will last longer too, you should put all the products, first the body wash, then the lotion and in the end spray some mist. People around me liked it and I got compliments too! I would hesitate to buy it only buy its price, but in the end I believe it’s totally worth it!

Have you tried this set, or any other Victoria's Secret products? What's your impression?

SUMMER GUIDE (BEAUTY, FASHION, NUTRITION, ETC)

Summer is finally here and we are all happy for it! Beaches, warmer night walks, sun, and a sign that vacation really close are just some of summer’s best aspects! Here I have for you my * Summer Guide *, things I like to have with me during summer days. So let’s get started!

Beauty:
  • ·      Sunscreen: Summer days are the warmest and the reason is the sun. So a sunscreen is a must in order to prevent skin problems, and stay hydrated at the same time. I’m using a travel size sunscreen with SPF 50.

  • ·      Concealer: Sun and brighter days may bring out flaws. Concealer will cover dark circles under eyes, redness and pretty much everything.

  • ·      Mascara: Because I will mostly wear my sunnies on summer days, my eyes won’t need an exaggerated make-up. Mascara will bring out the best of my eyes in just seconds.

  • ·      Lip balm: Probably one of those things that are a must in any season. Hydration and mainly lip hydration is what every girl seeks.

Random:
  • ·      Phone: Obviously. Not only for communication but also for capturing and sharing with my friends our best summer moments.

  • ·      Earphones: Music is a part of me no matter the season. Walks can get much more enjoyable with music.

  • ·      Sunnies: Ok I love the sun but it can get really annoying when it bothers you, and you can’t see what’s going on.

  • ·      Flannel: In case I am out till night, I will have to come across chilly moments. With a flannel I can stay warm and stylish.

  • ·      Wet wipes: Summer can get dirty at times. I am prepared for anything.

Nutrition:
  • ·      Flavored water: Appropriate for any time of the day, water can keep me up. Hydration is a big issue during hot days, and what’s better that water? Flavored water of course. As easy as ABC. Fill a mason jar with water, and add any kind of fruits you want your water to be flavored with. Leave it for about an hour and take it with you!

  • ·      Popcorns: Hot days may reduce your need in food. And there are times when you need something really light to eat. Popcorns are the best for you then. I put a spoon of corn into the popcorn machine and in a minute they are ready. No salt, no butter, no oil. They taste delicious and they are super healthy that way.

Fashion: Here is my summer look! I went with a pair of short blue jeans with ripped details allover, a plain white top and a neon green bustier underneath. For shoes I'm wearing a pair of white converse. As for the accessories I am wearing a gray bag that can carry a lot of stuff, and colorful bracelets.

Share your photos with me at #missunderstoodstyle so that I can see and like them.
Take care and HAVE A GREAT SUMMER!!

XOXO

REVIEW: H&M BODY PRODUCTS

Heey! Missunderstood here! So, I went shopping last week and I came across some products I wanted to do a review on, and as you can see from the picture, today I’m gonna talk about two body care products.

So, let’s take things from the beginning. I was shopping at H&M when I saw that they where having the cosmetics on sale. I ran, obviously, to check out if there was any nail polish or something else interesting on a good deal.

While I was checking, there was a section with some remained body products and to be honest, every time I have tried the H&M products, I never bought them because of their smell.

Personally I don’t like at all how they smell, they make me wanna close the bottle immediately.
So, even though I had this thing on mind, I went and tried the body splash you see in the photo, because I was so attracted by the packaging, this amazingly cute outside appearance.

And…I actually liked it! Yes, I was really surprised that I like the H&M’s scent. As I was looking for something else, I saw the body butter from the same collection, and it smelled even more awesome!
And so I bought them!

Products:

  • š      Pink macaroon- Body splash by H&M
  • š      Pink macaroon- Body butter by H&M

Some words about them:

Pros:
  • ·      Cute packaging
  • ·      Lovely smell (you will literally smell like a pink macaroon) J
  • ·      Affordable price

Cons:
  • ·      The smell and the hydration will stay only for some hours

So, having those things in mind I think that I would buy them again in the future! If you have the chance to find them on sale go and give them a try, they really worth the money! And remember every time you go on a store, don’t take any of its products for granted, it may become your favorite!

XOXO

Disclaimer: This is my personal opinion, everything was purchased by me, and I’m not being paid by H&M for this post

MAKE YOUR OWN HOME-MADE LIP SCRUB

The month of snow, shopping and x-mas is the favorite month of almost everyone. But December is also the month of cold, which can damage your skin easily and very quickly. The secret for having velvet lips is one step before your lip balm, the well known lip scrub.Combining your lip balm with the scrub, can help fast recovering from any lip damage.

Only 3 ingredients are sufficient for having the perfect lips you've dreamed, and those can be found in any home.

All you will need is:
1 spoon of honey
1 spoon of black sugar
1 spoon of olive oil (or any kind of oil you have such as jojoba or coconut)

Mix the ingredients until you have a rich, homogenous paste.Put a little amount on your lips and start scrubbing gently for about 2 minutes. If you have the time, leave the mixture on for another 2 minutes and take it off with a soft, lukewarm towel and….your lips will transform!

You can make some more quantity and put it into a sterilized jar( maybe of your oldest lip balm) and keep it in the fridge. Consume it within one month.

HOW TO KEEP THE HAIR DYE VIBRANT?

You go to the hairdresser and get the best possible hair dye! Your hair looks fantastic. So shinny, so healthy, so amazing. But, good things don’t last forever! If you just keep washing them the way you do, the color will last for two weeks approximately. I’m a red hair and it drives me crazy when the color fades out. To prevent this situation and to extend the color “life” follow carefully those tips!

1.If it is the first time you are dying your hair with this color it would have been better if you went to a professional, because on your own you may mess things up!

2. After coloring your hair, wait 24-48 hours to help lock it in further.

3.Sun protection! Sun is an enemy in that case, so be sure you are wearing a hat or in summer a hair sun protector.

4.Cold water. I know it’s hard but try to wash your hair with cold water. Warm water opens up the cuticle whereas cold water helps seal it. Especially, if you have red hair it will help prevent the color from slipping out.

5.There’s no need to mention that the shampoo you’re using must be color-safe. There are also shampoos with color depending on your hair color. For example if you are a red hair, like me, you can use a shampoo that has red colour.

6.Don’t forget the glaze! A glaze will keep your dye looking shiny and fresh in between colorings.

7.In case you want to dye next time your hair at home, be sure you are using a product that is professional. Recommendations are a good solution.
